第六部分 – 其他資訊

參觀「機會節2018」、亞洲空運中心和咖啡拉花體驗，

學員認識不同行業的職場文化。

透過機電工程、演藝及娛樂、音樂及藝術、市場管理、酒店及餐飲、教育界、會計、程式設計、醫護界、紀律部隊/公務員、維修工程、機場服務共12個工作坊，學員學習了解自己、尋覓志趣及理想職業。

能提供一個平台訓練團隊合作精神，並讓學員發掘自己的才能。

透過攤位服務五百多個荃灣區的兒童及家庭，並讓學員展現在M.I.工作坊所學到的才能，貢獻社區，帶出正能量，實踐「施比受更有福」。

每月至少一次的成長小組建立學員的人際相處、健康的自我及成敗價值觀。

讓學員能分享及分擔彼此的喜與憂。

陳傲然

我覺得我在這年內，我可以在學業上自行溫習，不用令父母擔心。而且我可以自覺地溫習不用要人提點，全因友師在提醒和教導我。中心一些活動所學習到是學校是學不到的。

莫劍東

我學習到團隊合作，在成長小組活動中，經常有需要合作的活動，而我以前都覺得自己有能力獨自完成活動，但後來發現，一個人的力量始終有限，與其獨自承擔，不如找同伴幫忙，往往都會更容易完成任務。所以，小組活動令我明白團隊合作的重要性。

吕琨儀

在整年計劃當中， 我認為友師對我的幫助最大，她在我迷路的時候指引我道路， 也幫我解決了很多的煩惱疑惑，她也是我的成長見證者， 從她身上的一句： 你長大了！ 讓我深深感覺到， 自己真的長大了

我認爲星期六的成長小組令我印象最深刻和最能幫我成長。因爲通過每次的聚會，都能加深我和其他組員的感情、認識更多的人，及接觸到更多平時不能接觸的事。有時侯玩的一些小遊戲，義工探訪等等的活動更能鍛鍊自己的溝通技巧。

楊泳沁

在整年計畫之中，我認為令我最深刻的是才藝表演。在眾多表演項目之中，我這組選擇了話劇表演。話劇對於我來說很陌生，我對自己沒有太大信心。但是選角時，組員跟友師都很相信我，願意把一個重要的角色交給我—媽媽。這次對我是很大的挑戰，因為要用不同的語氣及聲調在眾人面前說話。這次的嘗試亦令我大膽不少，有所成長。

戴倩琳

我最深刻的一件事就是去工作體驗，雖然工作體驗的時間很短暫，但我十分珍惜這次體驗的過程。記得工作體驗的第3天，剛好是他們的員工會議，我非常有幸參與其中，那次是我人生第一次的工作會議，然而我不是正式的員工，但我很專心去聆聽，最後還得到經理的稱讚。她留意到我很專心，令我十分意外，感覺其實我是有點存在感。這讓我知道原來我做得好的地方，也會有人看好，這使我有動力以後繼續做好每一件事。

黃雪穎

在整年計劃中，最令我深刻的地方是友師的配對，在參與計劃之前曾填寫過一份表格，寫下自己的興趣和特長，然後機構所配對的導師確實與我所寫的興趣所吻合。在計劃當中，我多次與導師會面，商討日後出路，會面的過程和興趣的討論令我最深刻。此外，記得起初在我填寫表格時，填上個人的興趣是手工藝和寫作，經過一整年的計劃和實踐，我對自己的夢想追求也有改變，從將來的就業和個人能力而言作出考慮，我認爲計劃令我的思想更加成熟，面對自己的夢想。

Part 6 – Other information

(e.g. Experience in operating previous projects, sharing of training activities, participants/mentors’ stories and photos, etc.)

Through visiting the "Opportunity Festival 2018", the Asian Air Transport Center and joining the “Latte Art” experience, CDF participants will learn about the workplace cultures in different industries.

Through 12 workshops about mechanical engineering, performing arts and entertainment, music and art, marketing management, hotel and catering, education, accounting, programming, medical care, disciplined services / civil servants, maintenance engineering, airport services, CDF participants can understand their interests and ideal career.

Provide a platform to train Team-Spirit and let CDF participants discover their talents.

Through Booth Service in a community carnival, we will serve more than 500 children and families in the Tsuen Wan District, and let the CDF participants demonstrate their talents they have learned in the M.I. workshop, and make contributions to the community, and bring out “Positive Energy” to others, and practice an attitude "Give better than Receive."

The growth Group at least once a month can establish CDF participants’ the interpersonal skills, healthy self-image and the right values of success or failure. Let the CDF participants can share their joys and sorrows one another.

Reflections of Children participating CDF

Chan Au Yin

In this year, I am able to study my schoolwork by myself and my parents wouldn’t worry about my academics. The reason why I am able to achieve this success is because of the reminders and teaching from my mentor. I learn a lot from the Center’s program which I never experienced from school.

Mok Kim Tung

I learned teamwork from this CDF program. In the Growth Group, we always need to cooperate with others. In the past, I always felt I have an ability to complete activities by myself. However, I found that originally there is a limit to finish a project individually. Finding a partner to co-work is always better than taking the task alone. It will always be easier to accomplish anything. Therefore, the group activities made me understand the importance of teamwork.

Lui Kwan Yee

In the whole CDF program, I think that my CDF mentor helped me the most. She guided me throughout the whole journey even when I lost my way. She also helped me solve a lot of problems and clean my doubts. She witnessed my growth. She said to me, “You have grown up!” I deeply felt that I really have grown up.

Chan Ngai Pang

I think that the growth Group on Saturday impressed me the most and helped me to grow up even further. It is because in each gathering, I had to build a closer relationship with other team members; to meet more people and to get in touch with things that I never experienced before. Sometimes through different interactive games and doing volunteer work with others can improve my communication skills.

Yeung Wing Tsam

In the whole CDF project, I think the most impressed with me is the talent show. Among the many performances, my group chose to do drama. Drama was very strange to me. I did not have enough confidence to act. However, when we selected our own role, the team members and mentors all believed in me and gave me an important role - mother. This was a big challenge to me because I had to speak in front of everyone with a different tone. This attempt also encourages me to be brave and makes me overcome the challenge to grow up.

TAI SIN LAM

One of most impressive thing to me was Youth Work Experience. Although the working experience period was short, I cherished the process of this experience. I remember the third day of the work experience, it was the staff meeting. I was fortunate to participate in it. It was my first time to have this experience in my life. Although I am not a formal employee, I am very focused on listening. The manager praised me very concentrated on the meeting. Her positive comment made me very surprised and got a sense of existence. This experience made me know that when I did well, there someone would appreciate me and therefore this gave me the motivation to continue doing everything well.

Wong Suet Wing

In the whole CDF project, the most impressive thing is the matching with my mentor. Before I participated in the program, I filled out a form, and wrote down my interests and specialties. Then a mentor who was matched by the organization was fit to my interests. In the whole process, I met with the mentor many times to discuss my future. I impressed and enjoyed the discussion process about my interests. In addition, I remembered that when I filled in the form at the first time, my personal interests I filled in are handicraft and writing literature. After a whole year of planning and implementing, my dream was a bit changed because I have learnt how to decide my personal development plan is needed to consider the future employment and personal ability for deciding. Therefore, I think this CDF plan will enhance my thoughts more mature to face my own dream.
